General Ministry Support Gifts

Your offerings and gifts pay for the day to day running costs of the church. These costs are many and diverse and include; ministry and administration staff , communion supplies, pastoral care, telephone, power and welfare etc.

Mission Support Gifts

Your gifts are used to support the mission organisations and individuals that HumeRidge Church has committed to support financially. This money affects people around the world as part of fulfilling our Mission together.

Building Program Gifts

Your gifts (half of which are fully tax deductible) are used to pay building related expenses by transferring half of your gifts to the General Ministry Support fund and the other half to the School Building Fund and those funds in turn pay the building loan repayments and maintenance expenses. Considering our premises have been valued at in excess of 10 million dollars, the outstanding loan of less than 1.75 million is reason in itself to be thankful to God.

The Australian Taxation Office (ATO) classified half of our multipurpose building as being for church ministry purposes. The other half they classified as being for adult & child religious education purposes (referred to by the ATO as a School Building).

School Building Fund Gifts

Your gifts (which are fully tax deductible) help pay for the School Building related repayments and expenses only. They can not be legally used for church ministry related expenses; therefore Building Program Gifts (see section above) are preferred as they can be used to pay both halves of the expenses related to our building. Of course, any gift is valued and welcomed.
