8am Prayer

Each Sunday morning prior to the 9am service a time of prayer in held in the Welcome Lounge to the rear of Chat’s Café.  Prayer is focused around the service and needs of the church.  Everyone is invited to enjoy this time together.

Sunday at 9am

Sunday morning services are intergenerational but intentionally contemporary times of worship and teaching.  Each Sunday we share together in Communion, and on occasion celebrate baptisms and dedication of children.  Primarily our Senior Pastor Dale White does the preaching with Pastors Neale Proellocks and Tim Smith teaching periodically.  We also host guest speakers on occasion.

Children’s Ministry, held during the sermon, caters for children from 12 months through to Grade 6 in 3 programs:

• Tiny Treasures (crèche)     12 months to 3 years
• Midgets                               3 years to Grade 1
• What 4?                              Grades 2 to 6

Youth Bible Study, Grades 7 to 9, is held in four week blocks during each school term. Dates will be shown in the TRANSFORMED Magazine Calendar.

Following the Service:

Info Counter: Located in the church foyer you will find our volunteers eager to help you learn more HumeRidge and the upcoming events or programs being run.

Chat’s Café: Integrated within the church foyer Chat’s Café provides a wonderful place for you to catch up with friends and make some new acquaintances.  Tea and Coffee is available at two stations.  Coffees, Chai and Hot Chocolate are also on sale.  Proceeds contribute to the ongoing ministry needs of HumeRidge.

Newcomer’s Welcome Lounge: Located at the rear of the Chat’s Café area the Welcome Lounge provides an opportunity for Newcomer’s to get to know some of the church members over a cuppa.

Seniors Lounge: Following the service the Seniors move to an area in the back of Chapel where they can catch up with one another over a cuppa and some homemade morning tea.  This area is set aside to help provide a quiet and relaxing environment for our seniors.

Playground: Outside on the Northern side of the entry is a playground for our younger children.  We ask that parents supervise their children in this area to help ensure safety and fun for all.

Browsers Gift Shop: Inside the main Foyer to the south you will find Browsers Gift Shop.  There are cards for all occasions, CD’s from local singer/songwriters, artwork by local artists, books and small gifts.  All proceeds support the ministries of HumeRidge Church of Christ.

4pm Prayer

In 2009 the prayer time prior to the evening service became an integral part of our Sunday Evening program, particularly for the youth of HumeRidge.  While the group is predominantly youth everyone is welcome to join in prayer for the service, needs of the church, community, and missions.

Sunday @ 5

Sunday Night services offer a variety of expressions of worship as well as varying styles of presentation of the message.  Pastor Ross Savill and our youth worker Elicia Wuersching oversee the Services which are held in the Chapel.

Following the service there are regular suppers provided at a small cost in Chat’s Café.  These suppers not only promote fellowship but raise funds for varying ministries and mission support by the youth of HumeRidge.  We encourage you to stay and enjoy the opportunity to catch up with friends and meet some new folks.

A special What4? Program is run for children in grades 3 – 7.
Creche for the younger children is also provided.
