Prayer Times

day of prayer

8am Sunday

Each Sunday morning prior to the 9am service a time of prayer in held in the Welcome Lounge to the rear of Chat’s Café.  Prayer is focused around the service and needs of the church.  Everyone is invited to enjoy this time together.

4pm Sunday

In 2009 the prayer time prior to the evening service became an integral part of our Sunday Evening program, particularly for the youth of HumeRidge.  While the group is predominantly youth everyone is welcome to join in prayer for the service, needs of the church, community, and missions.

Day of Prayer

Held twice a year on a Saturday generally in March and October at HumeRidge Church of Christ.

March:  This prayer day is held during the week of prayer at HumeRidge.  The churches of Toowoomba pass the prayer baton from one church to other with each church praying for the ministries and missions of Toowoomba over a week period.  The day of prayer in March is the culmination of this week and is a wonderful time of celebrating what God has done and continues to do here in our city and through us to the world.  It is also a time to commit our needs to Him and seek His guidance and wisdom.  We invite everyone to make some time available during the day of prayer to share with us in prayer.

October:  Held during our Commitment Day series this day of prayer is more specifically for our church at HumeRidge.  This is a time to focus on God and seek Him as we passionately aim to bring glory and honour to Him through our lives and as a church family.  We hope that this day will be one of serious reflection as well as great celebration for individuals and the HumeRidge church family.  Again, we invite everyone to join with us in prayer.
