Performances

The HumeRidge Church of Christ is a well appointed venue with air conditioned rooms. It is wheelchair friendly and has a hearing aid loop in the main auditorium for the hearing impaired.

There are two rooms suitable for stage performances. A large foyer area and a covered portico provide for a relaxed or formal arrival, an entry or gathering space.

The Chats Cafe Foyer is available to hire for refreshments before, during or after your performance.

 

 

The 340 seat Chapel auditorium is a more intimate space suitable for the same type of uses as the main auditorium but on a smaller scale. The stage is accessible from the front or rear. Equipment include sound, lighting and projection systems.

 

 

All this is within easy access from our large private sealed car park. Wet weather drop off through the roofed portico is available for guests using the auditoriums or Chats cafe foyer. The car park is fully lit and is user friendly as it also caters for the mobility or visually impaired. The car park consists of 244 car parks and 3 large bus parks.

 

 

The large 1500 seat auditorium has wide isles and fixed number seating, which we hire to groups of up to 1100 persons. It has a full size stage area with quality sound, video and lighting systems. This
room is used for many purposes including: musicals, conferences, presentations, award graduations, performances, movies and concerts.

There are two offstage dressing rooms adjacent to the back stage toilets. The stage is accessible
from the front, backstage from the sides or via either of the two front wing ramps. Video may be
viewed on either the front or mid of stage screens or on the rear 14m x 6m CYC curtain. There are
front, middle and rear of stage curtains that can be drawn, and also a rear of stage bar to hang your backdrop.

 

 

The Crèche Room is available, as a gown room or an assembly or practice room. It has a live sound and video link from stage. The crèche room is located to the west side of the auditorium and has access to backstage, the auditorium and to Chats Foyer.
